Chiropractic: A Natural Direction
“When I was in high school, I saw chiropractors for chronic headaches and the after-effects of a car accident. It was so effective for me that I ended up working at two different chiropractic offices in Batesville. Because I was so intent on wanting people to have better health, I knew that the chiropractic profession was the natural direction for me.”
Years later, Dr. Power attended Parker College in Dallas, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1996.
“I loved knowing I was going to be a part of a healing science that had, at its core, the natural ability to heighten function and promote wellness. Every chiropractic adjustment that I delivered was going to have the potential to turn on a power switch in the nervous system and produce a healing environment.”
The Rewards of Helping Others
“My greatest success over the last two decades has been in the relationships that I’ve developed with my many patients. Not only have I shared their joy in helping them to be and feel better, but I’ve also been invested in who they are as people; there’s no greater reward.”
Dr. Power’s innate desire to help others also extends to animals. She’s been certified as an animal chiropractor by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). “I took my injured horse to an animal chiropractor in my younger years, and when I saw what it did for this beautiful creature, I knew I wanted to also be a part of helping our animal friends.”
